Momentum Build.

Build the workflow and the capability around it. Stages 03–06 of the Momentum Cycle.

Who it’s for

Organisations with a priority workflow identified, whether through Momentum Diagnostic or their own analysis, ready to move it from idea to measured adoption.

What happens

Pilot. Pilot starts with capture. The workflow is documented as it actually runs, every step, decision point and exception, sitting with the person who does the work. That specification is what gets built. One workflow, built, tested and proven live, in the business, on real work. Readiness gaps surface here on purpose: better a small fix at Pilot than a large one at Scale. Governance is built in before the pilot passes: access controls, approval checkpoints, audit trail, human review where the risk requires it.

Activate. The team is assessed, trained and given the runbooks to operate the workflow. Ownership is defined, including what happens when connected systems change. Activate ends at a specific point: the business can run this without outside support.

Realise. Leaders measure adoption, time saved, errors reduced and the next opportunity worth pursuing. The result decides what earns Scale.

Scale. Related workflows are added on the same architecture. Each addition compounds the last; over time the business runs on its own coordinated workflow library rather than a drawer of disconnected tools. Scale feeds the next Assess, and the cycle re-enters.

The delivery model, stated plainly

Diagnose, build, deploy, transition. The engagement continues until leaders can see what changed, the team can run the workflow, and the result is measured. Self-sufficiency is the default outcome of Momentum Build, and the Momentum Cycle itself doesn't change based on what happens after transition. Should a client need ongoing support once the team is running the workflow independently, that is a separate engagement called Manage, scoped and agreed on its own terms, outside the Momentum system.
